Harold F. Geis of Watsontown was a caring husband, father, dad, and buddy. He handed away on Friday twelfth August 2022 on the age of 75.

Born in Danville on November 11, 1946, he was the son of the late Edwin and L. Evelyn (Swank) Geis. On September 25, 1971, he married his surviving ex, Linda S. Trautmann. Collectively they celebrated their fiftieth wedding ceremony anniversary.

Harold graduated from Sunbury Excessive College in 1964 and graduated from the College of Susquehanna with a level in accounting. He began his profession at Unfold Eagle, however spent most of his life working at Liberty Mutual Insurance coverage. Throughout his tenure, he earned his CPCU credential and a grasp’s diploma in enterprise from Bloomsburg College. He retired in 2006 after which started working part-time on the former Bee-Cee Professional {Hardware} in Watsontown till it closed.

Harold was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Muncie. He served on the board of Albright Cares from his 1988 to 2006 and is at present on the board of Watsontown’s Warrior Run He Manor.

He cherished his orchard, rising apples and making apple butter for the household. Harold is thought for his cooking and ice cream making and has entered competitions and over time he has received first place together with his scrumptious home made ice cream. He additionally loved woodworking.

Surviving along with his spouse is Bolsberg’s son, Gabriel Geiss. Melanie and Tom Ottavio, daughter and son-in-law of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. Granddaughter, Olivia Ottavio. Sunbury’s brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Karen Geis. Sunbury’s sister, Carol Beckman. Sunbury’s sister-in-law, Arlene Geiss; Dennis Trautman, brother-in-law of Huntsville, Alabama; and lots of nieces and nephews.

Along with his mother and father, he had a deceased brother, Donald Geiss.

Pals will meet at First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A memorial service will probably be held right here at 11am together with his pastor, Reverend Richard. Robinson, Moderator.

Burial will happen at First United Methodist Church Memorial Gardens.

Contributions to Harold’s reminiscence could also be made to First United Methodist Church, Muncie.
